Why are drugs marketed to the general public in the US? Shouldn’t the doctors be the ones making those decisions? And all those marketing budgets make the drugs much more expensive.

Drugs and medications aren’t something that people should be buying like new clothes.

I think drug companies try to make drug names as difficult to pronounce as possible. How else do you explain drug names like Ustekinumab, Talimogene Laherparepvec, and Levetiracetam? (yes, those are all real drugs)

And besides not being able to pronounce it, the side effects are early onset dementia, headaches, and diarrhea.

Re. the almost continuous adds: 5-10 seconds telling everyone how good the Rx is, then 45-50 seconds telling you how it will kill you.

Side effects may include stammer, tongue-tiedness, and a tendency toward antidisestablishmentarianism.

    Actor 1: I can!

    Actor 2: I can!

Actor 3: I can with Traxflecnanin!

Actors always repeat the same line in these phony prescription ads.
