    Back long ago the DMC DeLorean body was stainless steel, which could not be painted, but got extra hot in the Tucson sun. Frying an egg on a DeLorean in the sun was popular, just not popular with the owners.

    I would say if you looked back to 50s and 60s it was hotter. Most charts I’ve check out only go back to 1972
