We played outside during the summer no matter what the temp was in the 50s and 60s and we didn’t have an air conditioner to cool us off when we went inside.
I’ve always enjoyed being in the heat outdoors and NEVER complained about being “too hot”. Still don’t. Even decades later and living in Arizona!!! I love the heat. I’m out on my bike in 110’s every day (properly hydrated and respectful of my limitations, of course!!)

The decision my cat made, too. Better staying out in the heat to nap than being inside in the AC’d home all the time.
