Uh oh, this can’t be good.

We had a lot of thunder and lightning this evening. And then some water fell out of the sky. I have no idea what that was. I seem to remember that happening…but it was so long ago….

Oh, no! Not Oliver!

Today is:

NATIONAL MAC AND CHEESE DAY

NATIONAL TAPE MEASURE DAY

NATIONAL NUDE DAY

NATIONAL GRAND MARNIER DAY

EVERYBODY DESERVES A MASSAGE DAY. I’ve had people massage my shoulders before and I have to say I didn’t like it! I’ll leave the massages for other people.

NOW Annie is worried! Weather was hot and muggy here yesterday but calm until about 5 pm when very strong winds suddenly came up. Within an hour, several fires had broken out in or near towns north and south of me, the closest being 15 miles with evacuations ordered and the highway shut down. I packed up, just in case, as I have evacuated in the past from wind driven fires that ran for about 30 miles. About 8 pm the wind suddenly stopped and we got a little rain. Our valley escaped a big one. Lightning still a possibility today, much of it will be dry, some with rain, but with calmer winds.

Oliver is such a brave kitten. I wish him the best of luck.

Oliver and Annie may be the only ones who will go after Chesney, but all the cats will go out for Oliver.

Uh oh, that does not sound good. I hope Oliver can find Chesney before something mean and nasty finds Oliver. On another note, saw a rabbit, four robins, two swallows, a chickadee, a damselfly, and four juncos while out walking today.
