Garfield: part of me wanted to ship her to Abu Dhabi, but after reading the last 2 panels, I’m having 2nd thoughts.

Imagine when she grows into adulthood?

If she did my yard, I’d say, “Three dollars? Excellent! You can start right away.”

Expect quarters, maybe.

I uzually tip in restaurants and other places where people don’t have any control over their own pay. But, if an independent buisnessperson set their own price, I would consider it insulting to tip them afterward. This might backfire.

“3 dollars? 20 dollar tips? Why, when I was your age, Gracie, I was good for nothing!”

Meanwhile Baldo is on the phone to everyone in the area, saying “Don’t tip Gracie!” Gracie comes home with a total of $12 (four yards) and is enraged.

Why are people quick to criticize, and so hatefully, a child with ambition.

Such a naive idea. She believe too much in the good heart of the people of her street.
