I’ll start the fight!!! When are we humans going to learn to harness the power of a volcano, which produces far more harmful gases into the air than us, or even cows, do when we fart. Mt. Etna in Italy for example. But seriously, the more recent studies show that all that “harmful gas” from farts just helps the trees stay green. Some people only want to trust the science when it backs up their own ideology.
And another thing: if global warming is man made, then what about the effect of the sun? Natural forces beyond our control? How are we supposed to fight those things? What man does to the environment is just a drop in the bucket compared to what nature does. Now I’m all for keeping pollution to a minimum, cleaning up after ourselves, but to think than man is able to control climate change is tantamount to thinking we’re godlike, and we all know what happens to humans when we think we can replace God.
