Because in waking reality, when my bladder calls, I notice (eventually). In dreams, I end up on a long and difficult quest for the restroom… that grows ever more urgent.

Last night I dreamed I was a butterfly. Today am I a butterfly dreaming I’m a man?

Oh, you just fell down the hill.

That might explain the dreams we have that are so real, so exquisite, so beautiful that we ache to return to them.

Wise@ss should make some coin by selling magic mushrooms or other mind altering agents as he doles out advice.

Pig could go on the Dream Quest of Unknown Kadath,by H.P. Lovecraft!Would give him a new perspective!

I’m 83 and This reminds me of something really bad that trump said on TV, he said if he’s elected he will take away my Social Security. I’m definitely not going to vote for him!

I never remember dreams, I remember what’s real.

Reality has a constancy from one waking day to the next. Dreams aren’t even consistent from one moment to the next.

OT… Stephan Pastis is going to be in town at a small bookshop downtown August 9 and The Count is planing to go and introduce himself… if The Count can get near the place… which The Count doubts.

I made the mistake of drinking too much water too close to bedtime last night. My dreams were interrupted by bathroom trips several times. It was like dreaming on cable.

I remember Zach Weinersmith doing a Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal cartoon along these lines.

Is time sequential? Do you really experience things in little discrete bits that come in random order that your brain reassembles so they appear to occur in the way we’re used to. E. g., you tie your left shoe, then get into bed, then cook dinner, then tie your right shoe…

If WA is correct, doesn’t that mean he exists only in a dream?

I think my brain just broke too

If I’m in ‘Pearls’, it is a dream. If I’m reading ‘Pearls’, it is reality.

Here’s a hint: reality is where you’re exhausted and sweaty from climbing a hill just to talk to a donkey.

Hopefully the “naked in high school” wasn’t the reality.

Mostly because I hurt more in this part than when I dream.
