My friend had a small fridge in his room, but it was impossible to keep it full of food and sodas because I kept eating and drinking them. I mean people did. People kept eating and drinking them.

What? I’m people too y’know!

That’s right.. dazzling with B-S always works at least once…

It never occurred to me that being a corporate drone had parenting advantages.

Or else Dad’s being really sarcastic.

This is pretty much how it went every year when I would go begging the administration for help getting my requests for new textbooks and research materials for my classroom approved. Meanwhile the athletic department would go crazy spending their current year’s budget in order to get their new budget automatically approved with a guaranteed bump. Yep, still bitter about that even though I’ve been retired for years now.

We have a small fridge upstairs, but the only time it is used is when my wife’s son is house/dog sitting.

He’s been watching too many youtube videos about “dream bedroom makeovers”

Yeah great idea, now he wants one for his beer.

All parents should be this quick on their feet.

Out snookered the kid again. Dad-1, kid-0.

That was pretty condescending of him. It’s a mini fridge, not a freaking mustang. My parents let me and my brother have one in our rooms.

The kid doesn’t recognize sarcasm when he hears it.
