A noble impulse on the part of young Sedgewick?

In scout camp we’d try and swamp our canoes for the fun of it.

Who doesn’t love Sedgey? I suspect we all like/love Jarvis. Where can I find a butler like him?

It’s OK, Cartiers are waterproof.

I wonder what the capsize is.

Is it the first time we see him treat Jarvis as a human being?

Sedgie is often approached by strong men like Jarvis with tears in their eyes saying “but Sir!”

Unlike him to sacrifice himself. Surprised he didn’t name Jarvis temporary Captain when he thought there was a leak.

Water the odds.

“Oh, Good Lord. We’re going to die of thirst!”

Between this and him actually trying to do archery yesterday I think this camp is doing wonders for him

I have never seen Jarvis this freaked out. :)

Jarvis is a rather seemingly tall man. With his head above water, unless he’s actually treading water, he may be able to walk to shore.

For a moment that annoying kid almost seemed heroic.

I hope Jarvis is well paid. He sure puts up with a lot.

Jarvis never learns.

Come, come, Jarvis. We must obey orders. See to it that the kid goes down with his ship.

I think Jarvis has Stockholm Syndrome.

Keep walking Jarvis. The exit is right in front of you.
