My mother was elated when she replaced her peddle-driven Singer sewing machine with a tabletop electronic model. I forget the brand … European, I believe … but it came with a device ( built in or maybe attached ) which allowed her to do fancy stitching ). This was 65 or so years ago, so it’s most likely an antique. I wonder where it disappeared to?
