Political violence isn’t documented among Neanderthals, but only because they hadn’t invented writing. It goes back to at least Egypt.
Nate Silver last night: “I’m halfway expecting to type a sentence like “the model doesn’t yet fully account for the alien invasion on Aug. 11” at some point in the near future.”
The questions should be, “when do we get around to recognizing that this is a part of what we always have been?”. Why are we fooled by a 40+ year respite? Political violence toward Alexander Hamilton, Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, James Garfield, William McKinley, Teddy Roosevelt, FDR, Harry Truman, JFK, Robert Kennedy, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan (I think I got them all) suggests this is as old as the republic.
“There is nothing new under the sun.” Human kind has always been at some point in their lives - “useful idiots”. “Useful Idiots” are the culmination of monsters, demons and wolves in fancy robes. Each one of us could plead the 5th. Each, in their own way, is contributing to the demise of civility with their lies, innuendos and false accusations. We show “no shame”. After all of the bravado and hype, as the Reverend Wright so eloquently stated - “The chickens have [will] come home to roost! Ask yourself, I have, “am I a _useful idiot?”_ There is but one answer - “yes.”

Just don’t call them Republicans or MAGA. That would be a real insult.

Closely followed by Hatred Of Obama, Hatred of Hillary, Hatred of Biden, and now Hatred of Harris.

Kharis the Mummy was voiceless, so he would have made a welcome change from the typical politician
