Mom always said if we made a silly face, it could become stuck.

Silly Bear! Boy bears don’t have uvulas.

That’s not the dangly thing that you should be embarrassed about people seeing, Bear.

Of all animals in the study, a small underdeveloped uvula was found only in two baboons. We found that the human uvula consists of an intermix of serous and seromucous glandular masses, muscular tissue, and large excretory canals.

Probably developed to lubricate vocal cords and assist in speech… Means ‘little grape’ in Italian.

There goes your opera career. Maybe there is a support group for people and bears who fear showing their uvula. ☺️
