We have two near neighbors whose dogs bark… loudly… at any or no provocation. One of the naybs’ dogs will quiet down after you show some attention. The other pair seem inclined to NEVER stop, though if they do pause for a moment they restart if anybody so much moves a hand. That pair, I find beyond annoying. The ones with “off switches” are sweet and lovable… imo.
Just like people who own $1000 smartphones show little sense in purchasing a $20 Bluetooth earpiece to avoid shouting during their conversations, so are people who own lovable but all-day barking dogs who never heard of muzzles.
