I recently had to get a new credit card myself due to fraud… The hard part is notifying all the connected merchants of your new cards number. A slow process, but it can be done… Just be careful that it doesn’t happen again.

I check my credit card account daily. It’s been compromised twice.

I was expecting the old joke about keeping the credit card, because the thief charges less than Gladys.

One of two ways to stop them from spending. The other is making them pay for whatever they order with their own money and not with the household gunds. They really hate that option…..

Uh oh. “Suspicious activity” is probably code for limits exceeded. Gladys’s Christmas in July spending spree last week probably set off alarms.

Well, Brutus, you’ll have a week to ten days of no charging for her to wonder why the card is no good. You’ll have the irate wife to rail and scream at the credit card company and bank for failing her. You really think it’s worth it?

I never got a new cc when the one I had was used when I ordered a TV from Wal*Mart some years ago. It was used twice, then my bank called me.

sounds like brutus gets a charge out of gladys not charging… ☺
