I saw a video about how “unemployment” is defined in the US. It’s based on the depression where people (at the time men) were either employed or looking for work. A third category exists now; not looking for work. Something like four million people fall into this category.

Denver Reader…. The economy was thriving under Trump. Everything was, but trying to bring light to a brainwashed individual such as yourself is more than pointless. I understand Denver has been quite the lovely city as late under Dem leadership as well. Please for the sake of our country, WAKE UP!

So let me get this straight. If I read, watch and listen to the “true” stuff, then I’ll be smart and vote for the correct candidate. And don’t forget that the other candidate is a liar, but not my candidate. Now I can vote with confidence knowing that I know what I know.

A number of other options. Might I suggest a hardworking taxpayer with a steady job but without the family? Going home to peace and quiet, fully controlling your leisure time, being able to pull up stakes as often as necessary: These things are not to be despised.

I’m seeing more and more pop culture list profession choices as “hardworking taxpayer”. Like that is all we are worth and the only important trait of a worker: giving money to the Government.

Not all adults can find work. I have son works at a grocery store, the CEO wants more money, so hourly hours have been decreased, this has spread to other retailers.

Unfortunately Option B, a jobless freeloader living off government handouts is all to common these days.

Maybe Hammie doesn’t marry or have kids and works as a stunt man in Hollywood.
