Just last month here in Fla the state announced they were going to “improve” 15 state parks by building hotels and golf courses on them. They had to backdown after both conservatives and liberals expressed outrage.

Well, you bought the tent and camp-chairs…Somebody’s beaten you to it.

..too bad others beat you and found a way..

The idiot FL Governor wanted to pave our state parks and put in pickleball courts and golf courses. He tried to do all this in secret, but when word got out his stupid idea got shut down.

Years ago I went on a road trip with a forestry specialist.I commented on the scenery as we drove through the mountains. He paused to look out the window. He considered my comment and said, "Wouldn’t yield any more than (some number I can’t recall) board feet per (some area of harvestable land I also can’t recall). "He then went back to staring down the road with no further comment. I knew the guy well enough to know… HE WASN’T BEING SARCASTIC!
