Reminds me of a joke in this strip a few summers ago. Red got fed up with the Mintz Twins and left the pool. Rover stayed behind and Red started arguing with him. The girls said, “You’d better get out of the sun, Red! It sounds as though you’re arguing with yourself!”

One of my fellow Calvin and Hobbes fans commented, “He’s not arguing with himself, ladies. He’s arguing with his stuffed tiger. Sorry, wrong strip!” Another Calvin and Hobbes fan commented, “What stuffed tiger? Hobbes is real, isn’t he?”

I loved root beer Fizzies! Remember the cola flavor ones?

Red would be a shoo-in for the Delta House at Faber College.

I just watched “Apollo 10 1/2.” Could be a good choice for R&R fans, despite the lack of a dog.
