I’m remembering the Big Bang episode where Penny puts on eyeglasses to make her appear smarter, and Leonard instantly gets excited. I have a (real) Ph.D. in physics, but it doesn’t work that way for me.
We used to have a Denny’s in town…back when they allowed smoking in restaurants, we went one night…and the cook brought our meal to us with a cigarette in his mouth. Disgusting. So, I didn’t go back for 10 years. Tried it again, smoking was no longer allowed in restaurants, but the place had gone downhill…the seats were ripped, the place was dirty. Denny’s didn’t survive.
