The worst part of school for me – I never know when to start slowing down in school zones, because very few of them have lights. Some times I see the school buses emerging from aestivation.
Most warning labels make sense but every now and then you come across one that just screams at morons and those suffering from Dunning-Kruger Effect. Okay… “moron” might be a bit harsh. How about “mild intellectual disability”?
A woman I knew who hired me to sew some curtains was showing me her condo. On one wall were 3 paintings representing spring, summer and fall, on the other side of the wall was the 4th painting, when she said “winter is around the corner” I laughed out loud.. she looked confused.
