Ummm, that would be a big noooo.

Why does everyone now have to be in each photo they take?? I have decades of film photos where I am obviously not in the shot, which probably improved the picture…. A photo of a remarkably busy room such as in this great drawing would be fantastic; who cares if you were also in it, kid?

I have always loved the stationhouse strips with the marvelous details. The actions, the expressions…Capt. Ruiz chewing someone out in the middle….

What we now call the “selfie” was invented in Philadelphia in 1839 by a lamp-maker andpioneering photographer named Robert Cornelius. There is a historic marker at the site of this innovation at 8th and Market Streets!

I first saw this comic yesterday on the 12th. I was away from home at the time and only had my old ipad to view it on. When I would post my comment (as above) it would not show up for me even when I closed GoComics and relaunched and looked again. Which is why I would try all over again to post the comment. Today at home on my PC, I see that apparently it WAS getting through, repeatedly. : D
