I’ve never had a midlife crisis. And my life is certainly better than it was as a child up through my early thirties. So as a septuagenarian does that mean I will live to be over 150 years old??? ;-) ;-( ??
Katy should be grateful. There were numerous kids who were major celebrities at her age (mostly in show biz), who amounted to nothing after they grew up. Those who were not smart or ambitious enough to go into other fields generally descended into alcohol and drug abuse, and some committed suicide.
Is Adam STILL trying to write? I thought he conceded defeat and settled into being a househusband. But then—maybe he’s just paying a bill or sending an e-mail.
“Crisis” affects one’s ability to function. She “wondering” about life. It’s not a great hobby but OK to indulge occasionally. I had a stepdaughter in her 30s who had a “mid-life crisis” at least once a month. She was exhausting to be around. She did not want to change her life; she just wanted others to listen to her whine. It was hard on her children when they were growing up.

This is a Sunday comic, they don’t follow the weekly story arcs. What worries me more, is him being told he’s TOO LATE for a MID-life crisis!!!

Once you realise we are not here for any predetermined purpose, just to live our lives the best we can, the pressure is off and we can enjoy life.

Thoreau had Adam pegged, Adam is leading a life of quiet desperation.

If I did have a mid-life crisis, I’m good for 120.
