Way too snarky, Buster. Sew it up your own sassy self.

For a second, I thought Kevin had a beloved stuffed animal. That would have been cute

Mom just realized her baby just grew up a bit more… and then will come early teens, first dates, late teens, driving lessons and High School and before you know it time they go off to College and then move on…. at least that’s the way it’s supposed to happen… they are quite a few big birds with fully grown wings that are still sleeping in the nest, expecting mom and dad to feed them and the old birds are wondering how they can throw this adult bird off the nest and make sure he flies away for good this time…..

My 35 year-old daughter still has the stuffed kitty I bought for her when I was pregnant. We have photos of her from the day we got home from the hospital (we were there for 5 days). She is in the crib and the kitty is next to her. His tail came off when she was about 10. That is in her keepsake box. My youngest never bonded with any of her toys. As to me, we lost most of our possessions when I was 15, so I don’t have any from childhood. However, I do have the stuffed bear my husband gave to me when we started dating. I have had him for 37 years. I mean the bear, although my husband is still around. :)

She appears to be a great mom. Can’t blame her for how the kids turned out.

Janine really tries her best to raise four kids all alone.

Most of my early toys suffered the fate of several moving yard sales, including a Matchbox set I wish I still had (and a surprise toybox cleanout by Dad). But I still have a container of marbles that are so old, the round shape of the glass has distorted on some.

It was sad enough without Kevin being such a prick by adding “take it down a notch”

I hate when they grow up and don’t really need us anymore — like when they’re 32. -unless its for the Bank of Dad

Mom has no doubt known Crumbs longer than she has Kevin. She probably bought him for Kyle, first. She will lovingly repair him, and return him to active duty. Kevin’s cold detachment is a temporary condition(hopefully) of growing up.

When I was one year old and in a stroller, with my mom in a department store, I uttered my very first word, “Dog,” as I pointed to a stuffed animal. Mom bought that stuffed toy to commemorate my first word, and I still have that dog today. He has had many patchworks, replaced eyes and nose, etc…
