One of my collections of Sherlock Holmes fanfiction contains a story called “Sherlock Holmes In Oz”. The story has Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson transported to Oz to solve a jewel theft. Dorothy says that she thinks that Sherlock Holmes is only a fictional character but the Wizard of Oz explains that even fictional characters can be transported to Oz.
