It’s called a “practice nap” for a reason.

Had a lovely nap today. Phone on do not disturb. Room darkened. A steady rain outside. Temp set at 70F. RH 65%. One hour sleep in bed to regenerate.

Don’t rub a nap the wrong way.

Tis not a nap …. Just a battery recharge ;-)

And also retyred. That big tyre around bear belly is get retyring again.

Been using this explanation to describe….MYSELF!

His reply – " I was until you woke me up. Now I’ll have to start over."

This Plugger takes power naps. Gets me through rest of the day without taking another.

Yep.

She just can’t leave him be.

Wow, it would be like a picture from our house, if he were nodding over a computer keyboard.

I have always been “retired”

I’ve been officially retired for exactly 8 days. And ya know — they’re right!

My afternoon nap is definitely no longer an optional sleep period.

Nap time’s callin’ his name!

“Retired” describes some of my kin who tried to cross the road.

Husband has not needed a nap since he quit/took early retirement from his job.

While he was working – for several years – he would come from work exhausted and have to go to bed and sleep until dinner. (He was director of a children’s mental health agency/school so not working in physical labor job.)
