Does anyone remember how the license plates in NY state were peeling and melting from the aluminum plate? I know who the guy is that caused that. Other CO’s at the prison told the guy that there was something wrong with the plastic rolls for the coating, he got mad and told them to use it anyway. He never got dinged for it either. This is first hand info from a CO that was there and saw the whole thing.

In my state the plates are made by a company that employs people with disabilities.
