I knew better than to show much disrespect to either of my parents. If I did, discipline was swift and sure. They would find something for me to do in order to work off my bad attitude. Cleaning the chicken coop, cleaning out the grease trap, etc.
Ah, okay. I thought that was an odd thing for the mom to say, comparing them to girls, but the comics drawn by guys, so of course. Really just like a couple of 10 year olds. Period.
