My twist ties have been breaking. Maybe I need to quit using Vice Grips®……………

Same as screws or pipes; always righty-tighty, lefty-loosey except for flammables that you don’t want hooked to the wrong thing.

I don’t think I’ve seen a twist tie on bread for years. Even bakeries use those little plastic clips.

My change would be that chocolate chip cookies are always baked with real butter. No more shortening or margarine. Well, maybe margarine for the lactose intolerant.

Hmm… Something small… not noticed right away… Got it! All Politicians in the World replaced by piles of dung! … No, that would be noticed; things would immediately get better… ☺

Gene Weingarten expounded on his dislike of the “reversed twist tie” on his Substack page, including an interview that revealed the reason for the 50%:50% distribution; see: HttpS://GeneWeingarten.Substack.Com/p/the-invitational-week-79-the-farce

Something that wouldn’t be noticed right away….hmmm…how about that all plastic would actually become recyclable…It would take a while for anyone to notice.

Hmmmm, how old is that bread? I haven’t seen a bread bag closed with a twist tie in decades.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who would make that same wish. ’-)

i’d wish for plastic wrap that works the same way, but magically instantly opens up when you need it to, instead of requiring 15 minutes to figure out exactly how my wife managed to fold it so perfectly around the hunk of cheddar cheese that i can’t unwrap it…
