Several years ago, I saw a movie called Kedi, about the stray cats of Istanbul, and none of those cats meowed in Turkish.

I mean, cats only meow for humans anyway; after kittenhood they never make that sound to each other. They know it resembles the cry of a human infant so they do it as a manipulation tactic.

Though I highly doubt the rubes of Gasoline Alley know this.

I knew a dog who could more or less say “out.”

Meanwhile,Horton hatches the egg….

I feel that changing the name of a country is sad and poops on eons of tradition. Example changing Persia to Iran and Burma to Myanmar.

Years ago I knew a poodle who “spoke” Yiddish…
