This is lunacy!

And you’ve got a heavenly body.

OK, there’s Earth with its lone moon. Mars with its two, Deimos and Phobos. Jupiter shown with just a few of its 95+ satellites. And on the far left could be either Uranus or Neptune, also shown with just a few of the moons that orbit them.

Earth, with the moon 1/4 of our planet’s size, and formed from Earth’s original material (I’m guessing). Not captured satellites as the other planets have. Hence, our closeness. “Little Brother!”

The moon is drifting away from the Earth at about 1 inch per year. One day, we will have no one to moon but ourselves.

We can share some earthly delights!
