I think that Elizabethans didn’t wear “undergarments”, as we think of them. They went commando under all their elaborate clothes, especially the females.

That’s a superfluous degree if I’ve ever heard of one. The kind of class one would take if one was a ‘professional’ student, someone who’s paid as long as he’s in school.
While I have no doubt that there is such a Masters program somewhere, it does make one wonder where to find renderings or samples of such garments from 400 years ago. :)
