Nice to see Frazz walking with Miss Plainwell!

Ripe tomatoes have been in somewhat short supply here this year. But we have enjoyed a few BBLTs that always make my mouth very happy.

Ripe tomato season lasts until mid-November in my garden.

Jef got it right. It’s still August and the first Halloween decorations are being advertised.

My partner keeps telling me to grow fewer tomato plants. My neighbours are up to their eyeballs in Early Girls and Cherry tomatoes…

If we were supposed to mix tomatoes season with Halloween, there would be a Tomato Spice Latte!

A week ago I saw Thanksgiving greeting cards on display in the grocery store

Me, I’m over here noshing on my freshly ripened tomatoes.

Wouldn’t mind tomato season lasting into winter but the decorations for seasonal holidays should be banned until the first day of the month they are celebrated. Doing Christmas stuff from September thru Dec just kill the joy and anticipation.

Which is also the brief season for Paula Red and Jersey Mac apples. Yummm.

I saw winterwear already out at BJs

I just bought a Halloween Birthday card for my “little Brother” who was born on that day. At this stage, he is taller than me but has less hair.

There used to be a year-round Christmas store near me….now closed. They stayed open longer than I thought they would.

I think stores just know sales will be bigger because everyone buying early can’t resist eating it all and then shopping again
