Female competition.

Times have changed. Years ago, a lass asking for a drink would have guys falling all over her to buy it. Today….she’d be walking out of the pub alone and thirsty.

Well, I guess we know what she is but what’s the price?

I’m wondering about her eyesight.

When I was over in the Far East as a young sailor, ladies would come over and sit next to you and say “Buy me drink!” No, “How are you?” or “What’s your name?” Ah, those glorious days of old! ;-p

Way back when Andy used to chase bar flies and bar maids, and sometimes catch them. One of my favorites was one where a bar maid was crying to Flo that her dalliance with Andy was getting her fired. Flo turned to Andy: “You beast!” Andy turned to the reader: “Some people would think I’m lucky—me wife likes me girlfriend!”

No, but you can buy me one. :)

Flo didn’t give Andy enough pocket money to buy other women their drinks. Oh who am I kidding ? Andy will only spend money on his own drinks
