When I graduated from Technological school with a diploma in electronics, I went to see an acquaintance that worked at the Provincial employment office, thinking he could help me find appropriate work. I actually asked him specifically about a couple of companies I was interested in, but he said he didn’t have them listed. He soon called me up and said he found me a position…with a brick layer! When I protested and said, why would I want to go there, he said, “You want to work, don’t you?” and gave me the impression I would lose my dole if I didn’t take it!
Andy is over qualified for those jobs the Job Centre keeps sending him to apply for. Actual labor “Work” is called for and that’s beneath Mr. Capp’s qualifications.

well, Andy … apparently he’s new here and doesn’t know the streets (and their inhabitants) pretty well – pardon him. But yeah, move along.

In Andy’s case, they keep sending him for jobs where he’d actually have to WORK! Totally unsuitable!! lol!

A good job for Andy would be a mattress tester. (Not that he would accept it.)
