A couple of weekends ago, on the 417, the police services stopped 4 cyclist and 10 pedestrians, when asked why they were on the Queensway, they responded they followed the GPS directions. Police reminded them to switch to pedestrian mode next time.

A little early Historically but the concept would have worked though…..

I live in a beautiful coastal town. Yesterday I saw two tourists walking side by side along the Embarcadero with pelicans circling, sea lions leaping in mating excitement and the finest weather of the year, but they were focused entirely on their phones.

Uh, that’s not a GPS. It might be a device with a navigation system on it. GPS is a group of satellites which have no idea where you are or where you’re going.

Oh no! He’s going to ruin his phone…
