I can’t tell you, it’s a secret.

I quickly read this as the secret of life being “Scott”. Wow I had no idea. Then reread it properly.

Survival is critical to life.

For some kids the secret is to remain as invisible and silent as possible.

And THAT is the point of it all. Survival of the species. Everything we do is done in the name of propagation.
