For all the abuse Annie suffers, she ought to leave them to fend for themselves in the warehouse. She could get a loving, cuddly, old rescue cat and be appreciated.

Annie will NOT be blackmailed!!! Sure, Chesney, suppose she gave you $50 to appear good in your comic strip. Then tomorrow, you would demand another $50. Then $50 more the day after that. You can’t fool Annie that easily.

    Today is:

    NATIONAL NAVAJO CODE TALKERS DAY

NATIONAL CREAMSICLE DAY. Well, darn! I just recently ate my last Creamsicle. I have some Popsicles, though. And some vanilla ice cream. If I ate them together, that’s almost the same thing.

    NATIONAL TATTOO REMOVAL DAY

Purple spots on her nose? Sounds like Cat Scratch Fever. Maybe Ted Nugent can cure her

Loading dock coming up. Molly took to the trail as if she was a seasoned hiker. The 3rd lake is my favorite and we stayed quite a while She discovered she likes playing in the water and did zoomies along the shore jumping in and out and retrieving a stick. Perfect sunny weather, we started out when it was a comfortable 37 degrees. However, on the way back we saw a few other hikers with dogs – first time ever seeing anyone on this trail – and she bolted even using the electronic collar. Neither dog wanted to play although she kept trying. She is TOO friendly. Much more training needed. I cannot hang on to a leash and use hiking poles at the same time.

Update: Remember the kitten that was dumped on us by the “lady in the Corvette” who “didn’t know what else to do”. Peter, i.e. Petey is doing just fine. His left front leg was broken, but with only heavy bandage has healed. No surgery required. He is a healthy young male (he was neutered yesterday) who just wants to play. We have him in a large cage but he dearly wants to interact with the other house cats. We may give it a try. He is friendly and loving and will make someone a wonderful pet. Problem is finding him a home. The rescues we work with are full even the ones out of state are full. No one is adopting and apparently no one is spay/neutering either. There are several organizations that sponsor spay/neuter so money is no excuse. Get those kittens “fixed” and we can break this horrible cycle! I do hate seeing dead mangled cats/kittens on the roads. Be well all. No more earthquakes….for now. Over 400 by last count, most you cannot feel, called “cluster quakes”. Bye all…

I applaud her for just walking away. Chesney is a HUGE pain in the rear.

You probably won’t make a lot of money that way, Ches.

Really, blackmail? That’s a new low for Chesney. Annie should have sent him to the Loading Dock for that. On another note, saw two chickadees, two robins, four juncos, three dragonflies, and a rabbit while out walking today.
