This makes me glad my girls have set down their own rules about access to their people. Sure Gracie may roll her eyes and do a dramatic sigh if Sara is next to me, but she obeys the rules they came up with.

Lupin certainly knows how to push Elvis’s buttons.

My cats all prefer the corner of my bed beside my pillow. They’ll lie on the couch in the living room, but ignore me if I sit there.

No one is stopping you from jumping up on the Big Red Couch, Elvis. Go ahead and jump.

Elvis puts out some good reasons to get up on the couch. Things are looking up for him. In other words, sofa, so good…

Hey, you brought this upon yourself, Elvis.

I’m definitely on Team Lupin for this one. Elvis can jump to, or climb onto, the Big Red Couch. It’s not the couch he wants. It’s the Woman’s lap/snuggle spot. Mommy’s Special Boy truly is the Siamese You Cannot Please.

I don’t think the Siamese Song of Lament works on the Woman the way it used to. The only way Grumpy Papa is going to get uppies to the couch is if he puts on a tutu and a pirate hat.

Lupin”s gonna distract Elvis from the couch issue. But if this keeps up, The Woman may have to get out from under Iggy to stop an major cat-fight (for which The Tortie Terror will probably be selling tickets and doing a ringside commentary.)

Elvis being a Grumpuss again!

This reminds me of two of my four cats. Our most dominant cat normally has no trouble putting the youngest in his place if he invades where she is napping. But she likes to sleep in a cave under the blanket on my recliner. If she is in her cave, he will come visit me in order to pounce on her when she can’t attack back. So I go from 2 cats on top of me to none in very short order.

Does anyone recognize the Big (Red) Comfy Couch?

Well, now I’m getting ads for industrial equipment.
