but ya always wanna get your daily dose ㋡
That’s why I always say to guests as they’re leaving, “Thanks for coming, and thanks for going home again!”
Lots of Grandparents say the same thing!
Mr. Wilson only has half the joy Earl does. He hates to see Dennis coming but he sure enjoys seeing him leave!
The joy of being grandparents, you can love them, and send them home!
He has got you coming and going!
This Labor Day weekend we are all (4grands) under the same roof at the beach… and it is supposed to be raining every day. It is good when they all go to sleep. It I would not miss this for anything
My uncle used to say, I’m so happy to see those little angels arrive, and then after a while, so glad when the little devils go home.
I personally miss Roscoe ? : (
As a grandfather of 9, I couldn’t agree more!
Perfectly said, sir!
Kind of like buying a boat. The happiest day is when you buy it, followed by your other happiest day, the day you sell it.
Giddy up!
awww!
This does maybe explain Nelson’s living arraignment. Evidently they must watch him during the day when Sylvia is at work or traveling.
Yeah…….. no kidding HUH..?????
No grandkids here, thank goodness. It was a choice my daughter and her husband made. They’re in their mid 50s now and have never regretted it.
Glad his back held up!
Grandparent rules: Buy them presents, feed them sweets, send them home.
Atta boy Earl……
Same feeling I had when buying and selling my boat.
Earl, at his age, his body’s abilities fading, might be happy himself in those regards.
Exactly what my husband’s grandmother used to say “Happy to see you come; happy to see you go!”
Grampa stole that from several of my clients-“We are always happy to see our customers, some when they come in and some when they leave.”
That’s why grandchildren are so great! They go home at night!
The same as owning a boat. Happy when you buy it and happier when you sell it..
