My dad is currently in the hospital with stage IV lung cancer. They won’t let him order some of the food he wants because it does not fit with the diet they have him on. I talked with the nurse yesterday and told her “He’s dying from lung cancer does it really matter if he gets a brownie and his sugar goes up a bit? It’s not like eating healthy is going to give him years more of life”. She said she would try to get the restrictions loosened.
