Yeah. If he goes to bed now, he might be alert in class. He’s in danger of learning something.

To bed, for but to lie awake all night with terror, his only dream….

If he goes to bed now, tomorrow morning might be a more easier getting up. Wait, he doesn’t want to get up for school! But, it’s sure easier when you’ve gotten enough sleep.

I can’t quite understand the sheer hatred and loathing that most, MOST, not all kids have about going to school. Admittedly I wasn’t overjoyed about going to school but I remember enjoying the company of my peers and we managed to get thru the day by learning a little and goofing off together. I graduated and went on to college in spite of hating school. Course that was then and this is now and I believe that the teachers and curriculums have changed for the worse. Go back to teaching basic skills they’ll need in everyday life like cursive writing, typing, home ec. social studies, art, drafting, basic science etc. Too much importance today on dates dates dates, foreign languages, and the like.

Nobody wants school. Though, absence does make the heart grow fonder..

One reason I loathed school was “enjoying the company of my peers.” They made life a living hell.

Yeah going to sleep makes the time go by faster.

Go to bed. I’m not tired. Then go to bed and don’t sleep.

I can relate, getting up for work isn’t a great motivator either and yet I do it because I need to
