Oh, Fred! They rarely leave you behind, although I do remember one time they did. You had a ball with your dog sitter. You guys played, went places, and you had so many treats! Although, when the Dears got back, you were ecstatic to see them and they you. I think you are in for good getaway this time.

Four footed guests seem to be less trouble a lot of two footed guests.

As I have mentioned before, there is a Grosvenor Hotel here in Chester. There is also a Grosvenor Park, a Grosvenor Road and a Grosvenor Road Bridge here. The name Grosvenor comes from the Normans and is a French term meaning “Great Hunter”. The Grosvenors are an old Cheshire family who also own land in London and in the Scottish Highlands.

They need a vacation, but maybe separate ones. Mrs Dear could use a break from Mr Grumpy Pants

Most hotels did not permit any pets so I guess the callers would said to him “Sorry, no dogs allowed”. Choose a hotel that is pet friendly before call it.

Hotels/motels seem to by much more pet friendly than they used to be. They might charge an extra (refundable) deposit for possible damage, but it’s well worth it.

There was a time when permitting dogs at hotels in the U.S. was one of the areas in which hotels competed. Now, not so much. A $25.00 USD per night (19.04 Pounds Sterling/22.53 Euros) non-refundable damage fee is not unusual at this time.
