I actually have a cat that will play fetch. You throw her toy and will she repeatedly bring it back and drop it at your feet.

My cat plays fetch; he just has to be in the mood for it

Oogie’s smarter than you, Ralph. Then again, so is a box of rocks.

Yesterday, I saw a bit of research that claimed 40% of cats fetch. I suspect it was reported by owners like Drabble, who were hallucinating after too many donuts.

I would wad up a piece of paper and throw it and my cat, Henry, would run after it and bat it a few times. Then he would look to me to throw it again.

Oogie doesn’t have to fetch to be fetching.

Cats do run after the ball sometimes. They wouldn’t bring it back since it their’s now.

I have a cat who actually did retrieve when he was a kitten. But ever since he grew up, he runs after things that I throw, but then comes back without them, and looks at me wanting me to throw something else that he can chase without having to bring back. I ought to just attach a toy to a fishing line that I could cast and then reel back in.
