Cut thin and fried with an egg, not bad….

And in that department, I was making a visit to Pennsylvania a few years ago and ‘tried’ to eat a Scrapple. Didn’t get past the first bite. Awful! But there are some people who love em – good for them. We have a free country – for a few more weeks, anyway.

Spam goes best with Python.

Fun fact – anyone younger than 46 has never known a world without email spam. You have to be older than 87 to have known the world without the other sort.

I actually had a Spam and egg biscuit sandwich yesterday morning, at a Biscuitville restaurant. Pretty tasty too, if a bit salty. It was the first time I’d had Spam in many many years. I was lured by a television ad for it.

Still highly popular in Hawaii. The meat that is.

Just as toxic. But you can’t fry it up and slather on a bit of mustard. (It would gum up your keyboard.)

I have fond memories of something my grandmother used to make. Depression loaf she used to call it. Spam with whole cloves and a mustard glaze cook In the oven.

Early computer geeks were big Monty Python fans. That’s how junk email got its name.

I find scrapple all the time in the trash can; and sometimes spam. Other squirrels have died after eating sweet things that were not food, like antifreeze.

Spam was a staple for my father. I guess he loved the stuff, , , ,

I remember learning what computer spam was in the 90s. This guy’s a dinosaur.

Spam burgers were my favorite as a kid. Now I’d need an ambulance on standby just to consider one.

Spam not kosher so did not have until after I married my Italian Catholic husband.
