“Vandal, member of a Germanic people who maintained a kingdom in North Africa from 429 to 534 CE and who sacked Rome in 455” (Britannica so it must be true)
Most of the school systems in my area have already begun classes. I don’t think that would be possible without air conditioning because it is warmer these days. Growing up, though, it was a different matter. I remember having to wear a light jacket to school in the a.m. but warmed up and had to carry it back home in the p.m..
I like the fact the Peanuts still starts school the day after Labor Day. My grandchildren started already the middle of August which is ridiculous. They also get out toward the end of May. We never got out until the first week in June depending on how many snow days we had. IMO it should still be this way.

Write on a Vandal? I’d rather graffiti on a Goth.

If the school building was a person, taking action against a vandal would get him arrested.

That’s a little scary. Imagine walking through the halls of your elementary school and knowing that the building itself hates you.

If you encourage people to deface private property, are you an evandalist?
