Trap then and take them outside, I find the “pests” really don’t want to be in my house because there is nothing to eat

If you have spiders in your house, that means they are finding (and eating) lots of bugs. They are doing their job. I have jumping spiders that live on the window sills. As big as they are, that means they are eating whatever is trying to get into the house. So I leave them alone..

Spiders are actually beneficial. They trap and eat insects that cause damage. The Spider “damage” is their web.The vast majority are not venomous so you have nothing to worry about. They are cute. lol

1959, Fort Sill OK I was in a sleeping bag in a tent with a group of other men trainees. On guy asked if the tarantulas were out.. just then a big one crawled over my face. With a yell of terror I got up & slept in the front of a big truck that hauled the 155 howitzer guns. Was kidded all the next day. Fast forward to 1999living in our double wide home in far NW Tucson Village of Catalina on 2 acres of cactus we had a number number of tarantulas on our property. Scary looking buy very ‘friendly’. Even stopped our Volvo when they crossed our dirt road at night.

No matter if there is “food” or not spiders love our house.

If that were my cave, I’d keep the spiders for their entertainment value.

Didn’t know they could have corners in a rounded-wall cave.

I don’t understand why so many people hate/are afraid of spiders. As for me, I leave archnophobia to others, giving me the energy I need to kill any “cucarachas” that I come across in my Mexico City apartment.
