Interesting idea but … how do you get the information back to your lab? The sensors would have to have enough power to transmit after recording. I suppose you could use the opposition’s internet connection, but that would mean figuring out the password to their net link. At this point, you have more electronics than you do rat, and I think that would be noticed.

I use to deliver to a place that used rats for testing. You could always tell when the incinerator was being used.
