    Hmm … I think I see some house-building and hotel-building discrepancies (rule breaking/bending?).

There’s a hotel on Boardwalk but not even one house on Park Place.

And there’s a hotel on Tennessee Avenue with not even a house on St. James Place or New York Avenue. (Also, in one panel there is a hotel on Tennessee Avenue while another panel shows no hotel on Tennessee Avenue).

And … there appears to be 2 houses on Connecticut Avenue but none on Vermont Avenue.

    Hilarious today, as always.

Frank should definitely avoid any thought of visiting Las Vegas.

If Monopoly were to keep up with inflation they would need thousand may be even million dollar bills and have things priced accordingly.

And lots and lots of bonus points you can collect. But not redeem. Except the coveted executive deluxe manicure set in a shiny vinyl case with contrasting stitching and a classy snap security closer.

Monopoly was a popular game during the Great Depression, since it depicted the economic system (concentration of great wealth at the upper end of the social scale) that was largely responsible for it. Of course, there are politicians today who’d dearly love to recreate that über-capitalist system.
