First of all, I trust Pengo. He has been a faithful companion for years. Second, Ora Zella’s magnifying glass (borrowed from a raccoon?) is a hoot, topped only by her bubble-blowing plastic pipe!

Apparently, the boy can understand cat talk. The gir appeared to able to see Tillie the ghost in the halloween story. I wonder if one day they’ll be too old and can’t do those things anymore.

I mean, look at that face. Is that a face you can really say you’d trust? :P

Glad to see the magnifying glass and the meerschaum pipe have shown up. That BCN magic closet is very thorough and even knows when to be age appropriate!

I sorta want to have a look at the ceiling to see if it’s been duct taped to it. If so, then there’s only one cat who could’ve done it. Well, maybe two, but Ora Zella’s too young to have caffeine!

Children can understand cats. As they get older, they lose that ability and forget what they could do.

Good strategy, Goldie. You investigate and keep Ora Zella, Junior Detective busy with all the Detective Accessories! Next up: a measuring tape, molding clay to take footprints, and (invisible) fingerprint powder!

Hooray, a new strip has finally updated! It would’ve been awful if this mystery ended on a cliffhanger.

You know, come to think of it…

It’s not impossible that the remote could be on a high shelf or atop a tall piece of furniture. Sometimes I put things up in a high place where they will be, I hope, out of reach of cats. And then I forget I put the things in an unusual place.

We had some fall like weather this past weekend which inspired me to order a BCN sweatshirt from Threadless. It arrived today, but summer is back so it might be a while before I get a chance to wear it. There are 80s for every day in the 10 day forecast I checked. At least even though some of the days are forecasted to get near 90 all the nights are showing upper 50s to lower 60s for the lows so still good sleeping weather.

i thought that OZ didn’t trust the Boy because Goldie is asking for corroboration for his story. Pengo looks like he wants some time with the pipe/bubbles.

I don’t trust him, either. Something smells fishy… it could be the penguin’s breath.

My computer stopped cold and declared “This site is comprised.” Not computer savvy, I looked it up and this is probably why the strip was late…,“Compromised sites (or servers) are otherwise legitimate sites that are being used by hackers without the owner’s knowledge. Compromised sites are often used to house and spread malware.”GoComics was probably getting rid of the hacker virus.
