Remember, remember the eleventh of September

Airplanes, murder and plot.

I see no reason why twin towers

Should ever be forgot…

First class Tatulli, first class. Lest we forget.

I have to say I am a little surprised that I see something like this in a Lio strip.

So, I wonder how he produced a strip with all-black background and white characters. Traditional pen and ink does not seem likely.

Thank you, Mark. Hubby’s company and one of its subsidiaries (that he started with in 1992) had offices in both towers and lost hundreds of employees on this day as they were in Tower 1 above the 90th floor. RIP.

It’s funny how people tell us to get over it. How do you get over a TELEVISED MASSACRE?? Several thousand people were murdered with PLANES! Every time a plane flies above me, leaving a shadow to fall on me, I get scared. Yes, still, after 23 years. We CAN’T forget or it’ll happen again.

This is the first strip I’ve seen today to mention 9/11

This the only strip that’s paid attention, let alone tribute, to 9/11. I know they are done ahead of the date, but they’ll know when the date is, won’t they?

Here, here, an awful day in New York. It was very stressful all over the tri state area. I was on Long Island. Best friend and hubby in NYC, but both okay.

Strangely enough, Mark was not part of the Thanksgiving 2001 tributes; Lio hadn’t started yet, and Heart of the City that day was part of an ongoing storyline.

Thanks for remembering, Mr. Tatulli. I was living in NYC on that fateful day – the sad memories still linger after all these years.
