There was a strip in which Turnkey was asked the date and he asked Spook, “How many times have you tried to escape this month?” He then gave Spook’s answer to the person who had asked him the date. Maybe Spook’s confusion here is due to either making two escape attempts on the same day twice in one month or missing out on his daily escape attempt twice in the same month!

Spookingdorf slept through a couple. Several have only 3 vertical with a cross stroke instead of 4 and one set with six marks.
